A painting company built by people who hated how painters worked
Late crews, vague quotes, dust on the furniture and a cut line that wanders. We started GR Painting to do the opposite of all of it.
GR Painting is a South Florida painting contractor working from Miami up to West Palm Beach and across to Naples and Fort Myers.
We are a hands-on outfit, not a call centre with subcontractors. The person who prices your job is connected to the crew who does it, which is why the scope you sign is the scope that gets executed. If something on site turns out differently than expected, you hear about it that day — not in an invoice at the end.
Our work splits about evenly between homeowners and property managers. Homeowners hire us for interiors, cabinets, vanities and full exteriors. Property managers and HOA boards hire us because we show up with insurance certificates, a written schedule and crews who can work nights without a complaint.
What we believe about paint
Prep is the product. Anyone can roll colour on a wall. The difference between a five-year job and a twelve-year job is washing, patching, caulking and priming — the work nobody photographs.
Honest beats cheap. If refinishing your cabinets is a bad idea, we will tell you. If a wall has moisture behind it, we will not paint over it and let you find out next season.
Your home comes first. Covered, masked, swept and reset every evening. You should be able to live normally while we work.

Four steps, start to finish
Free estimate
We walk the property, measure, look at problem areas properly and leave you with a written scope and a fixed price. No pressure, no same-day-only discount.
Colour & scheduling
Drawdowns on your wall, HOA submissions if you need them, and a start date we can actually hold. Everything confirmed in writing before we order material.
Protect & prep
The longest phase, and the one that decides how the job looks in five years. Cover, mask, wash, patch, sand, caulk and prime.
Coat & walk through
Two full coats, then we walk the job with you under good light and fix the punch list before the final payment — not after.
